Louie would like to say Hi to everybody, and that he is very happy to have his favorite Auntie home for a visit.

    Just a fellow knitter browsing fellow knitters’ websites. I think your cat is marking his territory.
    I had a cat that did this, it drove me fu**ing nuts! I grew to hate that cat. Anyway, back to your problem: Male cats do this. He keeps choosing new spots because he has already marked the others. I remember years ago seeing something at a pet store that you can spray that will ‘deter’ him from spraying your floors and furniture. It’s worth a shot! He is, though, incredibly adorable. I think adorableness is ALL that saved my cat from a one-way trip to the pound!!
