I’d like to thank you all for being so very patient whilst I dye my my heart out over here. I ran down some #’s, factored in sleeping and general over ambitiousness, and came up with a monthly Quota for Vesper yarn. I’m not telling what it is, just that you should be able to get your hands on some a little bit easier. Unless I’m out of town. Then it’s a free for all.
I’ve come up with a few new colors,
From Left to right, They are “Smoke on the Water” “Strange Little Mama” “Fire in the Sky”
This is a very dark colorway, I was experimenting. In the future, I will give the colors a bit more “Pop”

Can’t have smoke with out fire right? I’ve though about these 2 for awhile now. Besides, everyone needs a little Deep Purple now and then. I like this color, but to me it’s very ROYGBIV. Crayon boxy, even. Let me know your thoughts on that one. I’m considering changing either the orange or the yellow to gray.
and… I’m having my first Give Away here at Knitterly Things! Since I no longer kool-aid dye, and have had the need to reduce the amount of junk I own, cleaning out the kitchen this morning, I though someone could put these to good use. I don’t use the squirt bottles anymore, either, so I’m throwing those in. Warning: They get leaky fast, but when your throwing around the dye, this can be a creative tool.

I wouldn’t change Smoke on the Water at all — it’s gorgeous and subtle and its usually pretty hard to find sock yarn that falls into that category. With some green instead of the purple, it could almost be a “manly” colorway — which is one of my great quests given that I have guy who’s very picky about the color of his socks!
I’ll take one of the Strange little Mama and one of the Fire In the Sky. hehe.

also, I just looked at scouts STR and while it’s sorta similar, it’s got way more black and bright pink. I think the slm will have a more “delicate” look all knitted up. LOOOOVE it!
oh my god, all of your new colors look absolutely amazing. i am PRAYING TO GOD I can actually get my hands on some of that yummy yarn this time around. *fingers crossed*

I”m all for fire in the sky — though a variant with a little purple or grey in place of some of the yellow would also be a must have. If you keep coming up with colors I love I’m going to run out of room to store all this stuff until I can knit it up.
I love all the new colors as well as the old colors!! I’m knitting with knit and tonic right now and am checking back daily to get some more. It is absolutely my favorite yarn to knit with – please mam, could I have some more?????
