I’m celebrating with a new sweater. A sweater for Brandt. I’m having serious project OCD right now, specifically, sweaters.
I’m insane in love with about a dozen different sweater patterns right now, but I’m trying to be true to this one, and finish it up by Thanksgiving. It’s becoming a bit of tradition, Brandt having a new sweater each fall by Thanksgiving. He loves them, he wears them, I’m happy to knit them. It’s a win win. Check the details out for this one on Rav.

Kudos to you! Every year I knit my sweetie a new sweater and the goal is to have them done in time for Thanksgiving. I have yet to meet that goal but I think I might this year.
As I said on Flickr I now associate you with Fall Boyfriend Sweaters. 🙂 I remember the first one at Rhinebeck 2007- you were knitting it in Carole’s room at the Marriot while everyone was trying out Kim’s new wheel.
I’ve been having sweaters on my mind right now too. Might be because its chillier this year than it was last. Brandt is one lucky guy to have a so many hand knit sweaters, the one your working on now looks like another winner!
Looks like you are well on your way to a thanksgiving sweater! I like that tradition.. maybe I will adopt it too 🙂
Very nice. I have a sweater I need to start for my husband, but he is falling victim to the holiday bazaar season. Thankfully he isn’t expecting it super quick!
That’s a beauty! Nothing like deadline pressure, eh?
I haven’t got a hope of finishing Grant Park pullover by Thanksgiving. Knitting it in the round ALWAYS makes it go slower. 🙂
