My sincere apologize to anyone who ever posted at this blog. I honestly JUST figued out how my comments work. That was a very, very, “D’oh” moment. I’m working my way through them. I guess i’m still figuring this blogging thing out.
I’m very far along in the slipper sock pattern progress. I’m about to begin the toe decreases! I love how this is working out! I did switch to a larger needle, a US6, and i’m very happy with the look. The foot section is loose, and that’s because i wanted it to have a lot of ease, not fit tight like a sock. I just have to order the soles, and cross my fingers! There are still a bit of flaws to work out, the cable changes at the heel turn, and that was a graph paper nightmare!! I’m with Claudia on the never again working a flap or gusset, I’m an afterthought heel girl!!
I can’t wait to wear these things!! They will take 5 skeins of Dale baby Ull, held double, or equivalent. I’ll think I’ll try a pair in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, also, the Aurora 8 bulky would be a nice yarn to use, working it as a single strand.
Anyone out there willing to test knit these things? Once I get the pattern written so people can understand it? Let me Know!!
I’ll sign up for a test drive!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The slippers look great. I’d like to test knit.

If you need yet anohter, I would like to test knit as well!
I’m new to your blog, but I would love to test knit once you finish the pattern! 🙂 They look really comfortable – I love the cables, and the cuff.
Yea! I quit commenting a while back because I just figured it wasn’t working! Now… you won’t be able to get rid of me!
Those are beautiful socks! I’d offer to test knit… but I don’t think I’m that skilled yet!
Oh, those cabled socks look great. Test knitting them is tempting… but too much on my plate right now, alas.
The cable slippers look — don’t take this the wrong way — comfy and cozy. Just right.
I would love to test knit these. They are gorgeous!
I would love to do a test knit….let me know!!!
