Aww Crap.

Well, damn. Damn damn damn. Do you see it? I missed a row in the lace pattern. I know it’s not glaringly obvious, but it’s driving me nuts.

Sadly, it is below where I divided for front and back, and ten rows down from there. Gah. I was knitting away last night, and about the time I was feeling too sleepy to knit without screwing up, I laid out my work, and petted and admired it, and there it was. It bothered me until I went to bed, and bothered me when I got up, so there was only one thing to do. Now I’m almost back on track, and still loving knitting it.

    Ohhhhh don’t you hate that!

Ouch, I feel for you. A deep breath and then fix it.

I understand–on rare occasions I’ve not fixed mistakes, and they always bothered me afterward. So it looks like your decision was a good one. That said, it honestly took me a couple of minutes–not seconds–to find the error, even with your red box. We’re often so much more critical of our work than others are. Glad to hear you’re back on track and still enjoying it.

Good for you for tackling the fix!

A man on a galloping horse wouldn’t have notice the error – BUT – you knew it was there – and now you don’y have to worry about a man on a galloping horse seeing the error! Hope to see it in person – some day! Understand you saw pics of my Luke? Cute little bugger isn’t he! Enuf to keep this ol Grammy knitting away!
