I would like to learn brioche but will be busy with baby knits as I’m expecting two new grandchildren in 2016!

  2. Elisa Gonzales says:

What beautiful colors! I’m committing to the anatomy of socks this year, I just learned how to knit them this past summer and am amazed at the wide variety of ways they can be knit up! I’m sticking to my usual cowls and hats as well to break up the pace. Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. Cathy says:

My goal is to knit a pair of socks each month. Right now i am working on my third pair of socks of 2016. By the time February comes I will be ready to start my fourth pair. Thinking of doing pinks and shades of Red for February. Thanks for the great giveaway. 💕

  4. Rebecca says:

My knitting plans this year include finishing the Master Knitter Program Part 1, knitting sweaters for my girls and tackling a blanket. Of course there will also be hats and scarves because who can resist!

  5. Lara Fleischer says:

I’ve been working on hats so far this year. I want to learn brioche and colorways this year.

  6. Carole says:

What a fun giveaway! I think this year I am going to focus on fast accessories – mitts and mittens and hats and scarves!

  7. Deb Hine says:

    Hello, Julia!

Well, tonight I will finish knitting the first think I’ve knit for MYSELF in a long time – the ‘Snawheid’ hat (Kate Davies) – in a turquoise with creamy white snowflakes! I think it might even fit!!

I have quite a collection of sock weight leftovers, so I am looking forward to being a little more creative and really playing with colour in the socks I knit this year, using up much of the leftovers.

I also suppose I will try toe-up socks, but I’m just so comfy with cuff-down. I guess change is good….

Thanks for the chance to win a great give-away!

  8. Amber Lindemann says:

I am knitting ALL the socks this year! 🙂 I’m also knitting mittens and slippers for everyone on both sides of the family for Christmas this year! 🙂 big plans! (And lots of vesper socks will debut!) 🙂 -a

  9. Orli says:

My big, huge, enormous goal is to knit 3 sweaters…one of which is a massively cabled monstrosity for my husband! The other two are simpler but knit in dk and fingering weight respectively, so I don’t know if I will actually finish all three.

I have a respectable and more achievable goal of a pair of socks per month, and at least two hats per month as well. Since I knit two and a half pairs in January so far, I’m already ahead!

  10. Rita Noetzel says:

I hope to knit at least one sweater for myself that FITS. I also want to make a sweater for my grown son from a pattern picked for himself, with the Merino/Bison blend I purchased at Northern Woolen Mills in MN. Also on my list are finishing ongoing socks, hats, and shawls

  11. I’m knitting socks almost everyday. I want to try as many sockyarn as possible and would like to introduce good sockyarns to Japanese knitters as we don’t have many kind of sockyarns here in Japan.

  12. Michelle says:

I’m planning to knit at least 3 sweaters this year, and I am committed to knit up some of my favorite yarns that I’ve been hoarding. I will enjoy them so much more when I can wear them!

Thanks for the opportunity to win such a fun prize. I’m trying to improve my stranded colorwork, so this will be a perfect excuse to work on it!

  13. Tammy Jessup Pell says:

    socks, socks, socks………..

  14. Amy B. in snowland says:

Self striping chevron scarves!! At least, when I m not making baby blankets.

  15. Dawn Keys says:

I just finished a shawl by Stephen West and two baby sweaters that are to be gifts but not sure to whom. Lol. My plan is to knit at least 3 pairs of socks before I add to my stash but alas I just saw some yarn that I’m going to buy. Lol. I also want to block things in a timely manner. I have several projects from last year that need to be blocked.

  16. lora says:

My goals for this year is to start on socks and finish up a sweater that I started up in October.

  17. Christine Dinsmore says:

This is going to be my year of new techniques. I am currently working on a Baable hat and want to try the askews me shawl to learn brioche. Happy New Year!

  18. Laura says:

I just want to knit more! I used to knit a lot but stopped because of hand pain. Well, the hand pain didn’t go away with no knitting, so it seems that I might as well knit!

  19. Angie W. says:

I’m not a sweater knitter, stick mostly to hats..mittens..or socks, so my knitting plan for this year is to knit myself a cozy winter sweater.

  20. Tonya Hunt says:

I have knitted one shawl and a baby hat so far this year. I want to knit socks this year. I have made 1 pair in the past, they turned out ok. I see so many beautiful socks people make and would like to get better at making socks this year.

  21. Karin says:

I plan to focus this year on sweaters (again) and more on perfecting my colorwork.

  22. Viki says:

My plans? Socks, socks and more socks, my own designs and long standing WIPs. That’s my plan for this year.

  23. Sonya says:

I’m planning some color knitting (which somehow I have avoided) and perhaps some sweaters, lots of sweaters.

  24. Zeta says:

I’m planning on knit or crochet every single day! I’m on track so far. I’m making a huuuuge blanket for my boyfriend right now and then I plan on casting on three cardigans, one for me and two for my best friends, a baby sweater for another’s friend new born, at least a pair of socks for me and of course finish at last my wips! And whatever else comes my way 😉

  25. Gale says:

I’m in the knitting of hat’s for all the heads that need them now. I hope to knit some socks soon, then the knitting is baby’s two in June. One girl and a ? I’m glongley on Ravely

  26. Jennifer says:

  27. Becky says:

I own to finish an afghan this year, try b inches, and fill up my sock drawer

  28. Gina says:

Every time I knit, I try to incorporate something I’ve never done before. Right now I’m doing the “Sprout Blanket” for my new granddaughter, which incorporates an embossed leaf pattern. It’s much more difficult than I expected — I can’t read my knitting like I can with lace knitting. I did part of the blanket in brioche and then frogged that part — but now I think I’ll be able to do brioche so I *think* that will be my next area to explore. I’m also going to try my hand at socks — I have several books on making socks, and I’m signed up for two Craftsy courses on socks, so it seems that I’m prepared!

  29. Jennifer says:

I plan on making lots of socks this year. No big surprise there. What I plan on doing is knitting these socks from the cuff down!! I usually work toe up and cuff down is a challenge for me. So far I have completed one pair without color work. By December I plan to have completed 12 pair, with at least one pair featuring color work.

  30. Leah says:

I want to knit more sweaters. For me & my family!

  31. Paula says:

sweaters for meeee! And lots of hats.

  32. Karen Janota says:

My daughter was knitting a pair of socks with your yarn and I fell in love with those stripes! I joined one of the sock clubs and unfortunately have not yet been able to make the time to knit. My 2016 goal is to make those socks, but Fair Isle is on my list as well. Thanks for the awesome giveaway, and even if I don’t win, I am so looking forward to getting that yarn on my needles!

  33. Amy Lounsberry says:

I’m making stranded mittens right now and then a hat to match. alounsberry@cox.net

  34. Angela says:

My goal is to finish everyone currently in my WIP basket and to learn brioche!

  35. Dianne (aka yeuxvertes on ravelry) says:

My knitting goals include finishing up some in-progress projects, (I say this every year!), plus start and finish six pairs of socks, and three sweaters that are in my queue. I’d like to learn both a new cast-on and bind-off technique. I’m also longing to make a shawl, but not sure I can do it all in 2016! Thank you for your giveaway!

  36. Deborah Graham says:

  37. OzKnitter says:

So far I’ve finished three pairs of half knitted socks (they were all at the heels) and a pair of socks. This year I hope to knit some shawls and I’d love to knit some baby things (just need there to be babies to knit for). I’m trying to branch out from socks.

  39. Carly says:

My 2016 goal is to learn to knit! It was my goal last year and it just didn’t fit in between the crochet! My mom makes the most lovely knit fingerless gloves! I must make a pair!

  40. Pia says:

So many plans! Your mismatched mittens, a worsted boxy I started in October, a sock weight slouchy hat…not enough time for all my knitting plans!
