In July, Knitterly Things celebrated TEN YEARS of our online shop! Vesper Sock Yarn has been around slightly longer! First, as wholesale, then on Etsy, and then with our own shop. The first order was placed on July 18th, 2006. Since then we’ve taken over 10,000 orders (not bad for a mostly one woman production!) dyed THOUSANDS of skeins of yarn. Self Striping, fingering weight, and otherwise. In the last year, we’ve begun wholesaling again, and have a few most excellent yarn shops physically stocking our yarn.
To celebrate, and mark the occasion, we’ve thrown all yarny caution to the wind, and come up with a colorway that stripes in 12 (TWELVE) colors. AND THEN WE DYED IT IN OUR SPARKLE BASE, GLITTERFUL! I thank all of you sock knitters, from the very bottom of my yarn loving heart for allowing me to continue to do this, year after year. I look forward to coming up with more amazing colorways, and in the next year, look for Knitterly Things on the road, as we begin to vend yarn shows again!!
