‘Leave Me Alone!’ Giveaway!

LeaveMeAlone
**Comments are closed!! Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments! I’ll be naming the winner shortly!**

I have been looking forward to the release of this book since I first heard about it! Being a Knitter in a Knitter’s world, I have been acquainted with Vera Brosgal (find her on IG here!) and her work and knitting for years (remember when Flickr was the place to be?? Yeah. ). Her book, about a Granny Knitter just wanting to be left alone to her knitting, was released this past Tuesday, and it is gorgeous! The Illustrations! The Color Palette! The Story! There is nothing not to love.
I thought I’d share my excitement with all of you, and GIVE AWAY a copy! The winner will also receive a Knitterly Things ‘I Heart Yarn’ bag, AND a special edition Mitten Yarn Kit, with one copy each of our Chevron Love Mittens, and Super Simple Stripey Mittens patterns.

To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite place/most ideal setting to work on your knitting. One comment per person, please. Winner will be drawn by random number generator sometime this Sunday. Thanks for playing, and good luck!

Mt favorite place to knit is on my deck in my comfy chair looking out over the lake we live on. It’s so peaceful and calming to hear the wind rustling through the trees and see the sun glittering on the water while I knit away πŸ˜ŠπŸƒπŸ’• .

  4. Lee says:

I have a little spot in my house, on the love seat, in the living room, where I sit in the evening and knit and watch podcasts. Thanks for an awesome giveaway and for introducing us to this book!!

As a WAHM I don’t get a lot of adult social time, so I cherish our Thursday nights. Thanks for a chance to win!

My ideal setting to work on my knitting is somewhere oceanside (like Tofino, here on Vancouver Island!!), in front of a fireplace, with a nice glass of either wine or an ice cold pint of local brew. I like knitting outdoors along the Humboldt County coast in the far reaches of Northern California. The redwood trees and ferns meet the craggy coastline, and even in the summer, it is cool enough to knit with wool. The foggy fresh air and the rhythmic sounds of the surf are as soothing as knitting in the great unspoiled wilderness.
