This Rooster is what greats you at the Allegan County Fairgrounds in Allegan Michigan. Home to the Michigan Sheep and Wool Show. Which we went to last Sunday. Allegan is approx 3 hours west of us, so we made an overnight of it, visiting the very lovely Grand Rapids the day before. Mi Sheep and Wool is only a fraction of the size of Rhinebeck and MDS&W, but it is very lovely, and still offers a variety of things to see and do, not to mention all the fibery/yarny goodness! I’m learning that MI has actually a few fiber shows, most of them traveling distance from us, but on the years we don’t make it to the big s&w shows, I’ll take them!
This looks like a fun trip. I don’t have friends in that state, but I do have friends in Colorado and I keep thinking I need to take a trip out there around the Etses Sheep and Wool.
