I’m happy to tell you all this silly blog silence will end next week. For the last 2 weeks or so, I’ve been gearing up to vend my second show ever, the Homespun Yarn Party, in Savage, Maryland, which is not that far from Baltimore. I think.
The same friend that I vended the Pittsburgh show with talked me into it. That would be Local P’burgh fiber artist Cosy, of Cosymakes, and author of Knit One Embellish Two. This should be a great little show, TONS of indy crafters and yarnies. The show is Sunday, from 12 to 5pm, and admission if FREE. Free, so you have to come, yes you do. There will also be free workshops, definitely worthy of checking out.
I will have more Vesper Yarn with me there than has ever been seen in one place at one time, and Wee Skein Kits too, and bunches of roving. In case you needed incentive. Just saying.

Darn. This is one of those times that I wish I lived further north. (the weather is mostly when I’m glad I don’t.) I can’t wait to hear/read how the show goes. good luck!

Am currently working on my fist pair of socks out of Vesper yarn (varigated greens) which I purchased at the Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet show. I am in love with this yarn and can’t wait to buy more.
