Can’t Talk. Knitting.

I’m in the home stretch now! Half the yoke and a collar to knit, under arms to graft and ends to weave in! This sweater went so fast, it practically flew off the needles. This is the first of the progress shots I took of it! It’s Berrocco Ultra Alpaca, and it’s very nice to work with, the 50% Merino content really helps the 50% Alpaca be bouncy. Plus it’s super soft, and probably super warm. Which will be good if winter every really gets here. Seriously. 65 degree weather in January?! I wore flip flops today!

Hee I guess warm is relative because it is 69 degrees in my house and I just turned on the heater. Then again I am a spoiled California kid with probably a bad case of undiagnosed anemia so I am always cold 🙂

    It looks beautiful.

It’s been unseasonably warm up here too. We were able to run around in sneakers instead of sorels for a few days.

Hi! These colours are gorgeous! I just really got into the mood to knit this sweater with the same colours!!! If you don’t mind I really would like to know which colours you actually used. From the picture I suppose its beet root or redish purple as main colour, couscous, pale blue, fuchsia and lovage as contrasting colours but I can’t tell for sure.
I’d really appreciate an answer to this question and I have to repeat myself when I say: great sweater and great colours!! I totally agree wtih Marisol: I can’t wait to see the completed masterpiece.
